Simply Neat Cleaners is a home-cleaning company serving Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties in New York and Fairfield and New Haven counties in Connecticut. Our website is simplyneatcleaners.com. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Simply Neat Cleaners, and “you” means anyone who visits our website, asks us for a quote, texts or emails us, or books a cleaning.

Information you give us

When you ask for a quote on our quote form, we collect:

• your name
• your mobile phone number
• your email address, if you give one
• your town or ZIP code and your county
• service details: the service you want, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, how often you want cleaning and your preferred date
• anything you write in the message box, such as notes about pets, parking or access
• your text-message choice: whether you checked the optional SMS consent box, the wording of that box, and the date and time you sent the form

If you email us, text us or book a cleaning, we also keep what you send us and the details we need to schedule and do the work, such as the address of the home to be cleaned and how to get in.

Information collected automatically

• How you found us. The first page you arrived on, the website that sent you (the referrer) and any campaign tags in the link you followed, such as tags that begin with utm_. These are sent to us with your quote request.
• Technical details. When you send a quote request, we record your IP address and browser type with it, which helps us spot and block spam. Our web host also keeps standard server logs of IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request.

Please do not send payment card numbers, bank details or passwords through the form, by email or by text.

• To reply to your request and answer your questions.
• To prepare and send your quote.
• To schedule, confirm and remind you about appointments.
• To provide the cleaning you book and follow up on it.
• To send the text messages you agreed to receive, as described in our SMS terms.
• To keep business records, such as quotes, appointments and the record of your text-message consent or opt-out.
• To learn which pages and links bring people to us, so we can improve the website.
• To keep the website and quote form working and protect them from spam and misuse.
• To meet our legal obligations.

Quote requests are saved on the servers of the company that hosts our website, in a folder that is blocked from public access, and a copy is emailed to our business inbox. Only the people at Simply Neat Cleaners who need your information to reply to you and do the work can see it.

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and run the business, including our records of quotes, appointments and text-message consent. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.

No website, email account or phone network is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted. We collect only what we need to quote and clean your home.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers. Companies that help us run the website and send messages, such as our website host, our email provider and the text-messaging platform we use to send and receive texts. They receive only what they need to do that work for us, and only so they can do it.
• Legal requirements. When the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order, or when we need to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our team or others.

None of the sharing described above includes text messaging originator opt-in data or consent. That information is not shared with any third parties.

If you check the optional SMS consent box on our quote form, or ask us to text you, we send text messages about your quote, scheduling and service: quote follow-ups, appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. The full terms are on our SMS terms page.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We keep a record of your consent (the wording you agreed to, and the date and time) and of any opt-out, so that we text only people who asked us to and stop when asked.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses one small script that remembers the first page you visited, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link, so we know how you found us. It keeps this in your own browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and it stays on your device unless you send us a quote request, when it is included with the request. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser’s stored data for simplyneatcleaners.com.

We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other analytics service. If we add analytics such as Google Analytics, we will update this policy to say which service we use and what it collects.

• See, correct or delete your information. Email us at info@simplyneatcleaners.com and tell us what you want. We may ask you to confirm a few details so we know the request comes from you.
• Stop text messages. Reply STOP to any text from us. You will get one message confirming that you have opted out, and no more texts after that. You can also email us and ask us to stop.
• Stop emails. Reply to any email from us, or write to us, and ask us to stop.
• Clear what your browser stored. Clear your browser’s site data for simplyneatcleaners.com.

If the law where you live gives you other privacy rights, email us and we will respond as that law requires.

Our website and services are meant for adults arranging cleaning for their homes. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the business changes, for example if we add a phone number or an analytics service. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
